Wendy Mitchell

Wendy has a decade of experience advising brands in corporate reputation, sustainability and social impact within globally networked agencies, working across diverse sectors. She has advised high-profile global and UK clients at senior level, including real estate advisory firm JLL, HSBC, eBay, Lloyds Banking Group, Mondelez and Just Eat Takeaway.com along with a leading ocean conservation charity in the run-up to the 2025 UN Ocean Conference. Wendy was seconded into the Labour Party in 2023 to formulate and lead communications campaigns on gender equality including women's health, midlife women, and workplace equality. During this time, she led the launch of the Party's new workplace menopause policy and activity around International Women's Day. Wendy has strong background in local politics, having worked in local government before entering consultancy and having been a local councillor. She led public affairs for the host authority for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games, leading communications around the regeneration of East London and its impact on existing local communities, as well as working with investment partners on securing 2012 legacy. Previously Wendy worked in the NGO sector and was an elected councillor in London.
