The Bridge of Trust

In the face of the war in Ukraine, The Bridge of Trust, a Finnish non-profit voluntary initiative, launched an ambitious advocacy movement by physically bringing 100+ global investors from 15 countries by land – since there are no flights – to Ukraine’s largest tech conference, to connect with innovative Ukrainian startups ready to build the country’s future. The Bridge of Trust created a trust-based ecosystem linking international capital with Ukraine’s innovative startups, breaking misconceptions and enabling investments despite the ongoing conflict. By getting the investors to experience how bright and innovative the country’s brightest young minds are, TBOT showed firsthand the resilience and untapped potential that thrives despite the war. Despite air raid alarms and evacuations, TBOT forged real business connections that will continue long after the war. The initiative led to millions in investment commitments and positioned Ukraine as a high-potential startup hub, reshaping investor behavior toward the country. A free Ukraine is an investment in the future, not just for Ukrainians but for all of us.
