André Calantzopoulos is spearheading change toward a world without cigarettes. As CEO of Philip Morris International (PMI), he has fundamentally transformed the organization and differentiated it from others within the industry by turning the leading international tobacco company into a science- and technology-led business committed to delivering a smoke-free future.

With more than 30 years of leadership positions within PMI, André served as the company's CEO from 2013 until May 2021, when he assumed the position of Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Since 2016, when PMI publicly announced its new purpose: to deliver a smoke-free future, André has been the face and voice of the company's transformation, informing and shaping opinions regarding our vision and progress toward it.
