Darain Faraz

Darain Faraz is a seasoned Marketing & PR leader with an extensive career spanning MySpace, WWF, and, most notably, LinkedIn, where he served as International Brand Marketing Director during a successful 11-year tenure. In 2019, he co-founded People Like Us, a UK not-for-profit dedicated to supporting professionals of Black, Asian, Mixed Race and minority ethnic backgrounds working in PR, media and communications. Through nationwide events, research, mentorship, career support and industry partnerships, People Like Us champions workplace equity, fair pay and representation, pushing the sector towards more inclusive and accountable practices. Darain continues to work across the communications industry to advocate for diverse thinking, build equitable talent pathways, and drive meaningful, measurable change in how organisations support underrepresented communities.
