I have been working in design and innovation for over thirty years in the healthcare and FMCG sectors. I have worked both client and agency side across several businesses including Reckitt Benckiser, Novartis Consumer Health and Pure Realisation, a design agency I founded. I am lucky to have had several roles in my career covering; Product Development, R&D, Brand Management, Design strategy, Account Management and Design Management and Innovation. I joined GlaxoSmithKline in 2011 to build a Design Leadership function and with my team we have pushed the boundaries of the perception of design across 146+ markets for 25+ global brands, including Panadol, Sensodyne, Theraflu, Flonase. We have a Design mission at GSK is to embed world class design thinking and culture across all consumer, customer and expert touchpoints for our brands. I am a passionate believer in creating holistic consumer experiences, brought to life through combining world class design, fearless innovation and great brand building marketing to make things #betterbydesign using #designlinking.
