In 2019, freuds launched an unprecedented campaign to create inspiration and action around the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
freuds unveiled three Goals Houses – at Davos, Cannes Lions, and at UNGA in New York - making an immediate impact by bringing together activists, leaders and campaigners from every corner of the Earth in pursuit of a better future, with 63 events and 2,500 participants from 100 countries including 23 Heads of State and 14 Nobel Laureates.
Working alongside our agency partners, Proud Robinson + Partners and Atomized and Project Everyone, the Houses were created as spaces of creativity and shared experience, encouraging political and business leaders to collaborate and think boldly about the role their organisations can play, resulting in accelerating bold aims, actions and outcomes.
Leading participants included: Bank of America, WWF, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the World Food Programme, AB InBev, UN Women, Hassan Jameel, the Financial Times, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, former US Secretary of State, John Kerry, Sir David Attenborough, Christiana Figueres and many more.
Together, the Goals Houses became physical manifestations of the need for ambition and collaboration to create the partnerships between the public and private sector that will help achieve the SDGs in 2030.
