In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Talker Tailor Trouble Maker (TTTM) was central in launching a new charity initiative by LEON founder John Vincent, actors Damian Lewis, Helen McCrory and actor and comedian Matt Lucas.
TTTM shaped and executed a campaign to help feed NHS staff at least one hot meal a day, with the aim of reaching a £1m fundraising target. In two weeks FEEDNHS raised £1.3m through PR alone. The campaign has raised over £1.7m in total.
What started as a fundraising activation quickly grew into a fully-fledged not-for-profit organisation and campaign. Over 1,000 pieces of coverage were delivered in just two months. Thanks to the funding and partner support, FeedNHS is now delivering 40,000 hot meals per day to NHS staff in 101 hospitals nationwide.
The campaign has been received so positively, that fundraising continues, and consultations are being held with NHS trusts on how FeedNHS can continue to support catering in hospitals in the long term.
