The Dirt Is Good Academy is a brand-new educational programme which aims to create real, positive change among its target audience of children aged 12 and under. It was inspired by the need for quality, free online educational content and the growing levels of anxiety in young people around global issues like the climate crisis. Brought to you by the Dirt Is Good Project and created by Creature & Co., this programme is Persil's prime home-learning education initiative - equipping kids with the knowledge and know - how to help tackle some of the world's biggest issues.
Brought to life with engaging visuals, gamification and customisable avatars, this programme is an engaging, fun and genuinely useful tool for any young person looking to make the world a better place. The core purpose of the programme is to raise awareness and provide children with the knowledge and tools they need to become advocates for resolving the world's greatest social and environmental challenges.
Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's), users have access to themed Missions from their very own - 'Mission Log' dashboard. Each Mission breaks down issues like climate change, poverty and overfishing into digestible chunks. Users are provided with background knowledge on each subject, plus actionable offline tasks they can complete to help address the issues. The programme is a safe space for like - minded compassionate young people, designed to lift and empower them into taking action for good.
